We offer you free use of modern computers that are connected to a fast broadband internet connection. WIFI is also available through the entire hotel, so you can bring your laptop and surf the internet from your room, in the garden, or while sitting at a balcony or the rooftop.
Free airport pickup & parking
We offer our guests a complementary airport pick up. Also, there is parking space available for your bike, cycle and (limited space for) private cars, if you're planning to bring transportation, please discuss your plans with us.
Restaurant & bar
Like a real Nepali home, our excellent restaurant offers you all kinds of delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Only interested in some drinks? Apart from various hot and soft drinks, we can also serve you local and import beers and hard drinks from our bar. A mineral tap can be found at the centre of the hotel, where you can serve yourself and take free mineral water.
Garden, rooftop & balconies
There are plenty of opportunities in the hotel to relax, enjoy reading a book, sit down with friends, or just do nothing! The garden is the major eye catcher, loaded with plants and all kinds of flowers which serves as our little oasis in the hectic of Kathmandu. If you climb some stairs, you can also enjoy the rooftop which gives you great views on the city and with clear weather even a panorama on the mountain range. At every floor you’ll find a nice and spacious balcony with seats and a table with lecture. Inside at the lobby there are relaxing couches where you always can sit down, pick a newspaper, read a book from our ‘library’ or watch a movie or international news at our big screen television set.
24 hours security
The hotel area is a very safe area. The main gate is 24 hous a day secured by our Gurkha guards. During the night the gate and hotel entrances will be locked, but can be opened for guests only.
24 hours hot showers & electricity
Not a common luxury in Nepal, due to water shortage and electricity problems during certain periods. However, Hotel Ganesh Himal has its own water supply and generator, which secures all your hot showers.
Room cleaning & laundry service
Like our guests, we like a clean hotel as well! Your room as well as the hotel itself will be cleaned every day by our cleaning staff. Towels will be changed daily. We can also take care of your laundry and dry cleaning against reasonable prices (these costs can be added to your bill).
Free use of our 'library'
The hotel has a collection of books that you can use during your stay. There are famous novels of well known writers, but there are beautiful picture books of the Himalayas and of course about the colorfull cultures of Nepal...
Free luggage storage & safe deposit
The hotel has a central safe deposit box, were you can store your valuable personal belongings (passport etc). While you are on trip, you can leave your luggage in our free store.
Telephone, fax, scanner, printer
You don’t need to leave the hotel for fax, postal & overseas call services. Ask our staff at the front desk for assistance.

For any (free) travel information and hints regarding interested things to see in the surroundings, you can consult our in-house travel company; both by walk in and scheduled appointment. We also offer trekking, rafting & wildlife safari package deals.

We accept all major credit cards for your payment (AMEX, Maestro, Visa). You can also exchange international currencies into Nepales Rupees at our reception desk.
