About Hotel Ganesh Himal |
I'm very pleased that you visit our website and that you consider to stay at our hotel. We will make sure that your stay will be as pleasant and comfortable as possible! But first, let me tell you something about our hotel.
How it all started
In the past, after very hard work for many years, my father was able to buy a small piece of land in Chhetrapati on which he build a small home for his family. Chhetrapati is just outside Thamel, the main tourist area in Kathmandu with lot's of little shops, restaurants and bars. Now, many years later, our family has slowly been able to transform that small house into a modern and cozy hotel with 30 rooms.
Comfort at reasonable prices
We have tried to setup our hotel as comfortable as possible with a a large green garden, a spacious and sunny rooftop and several quiet balconies at every floor. Most of our rooms are decorated in typical Nepali style with wooden floors, wooden furniture ans colorful details. Of course there is 24 hours hot running water and electricity is

guaranteed. But we offer many other facilities which we described at our facilities page. Through al the years we have been able able to offer our services at very reasonable and competitive prices!
